We are planning a full day to celebrate this milestone! Our event will be held at the lovely Poplar Creek Grill and Golf Course in San Mateo.
We are honored to have Kathleen Huggins, IBCLC, author of the bestseller, The Nursing Mothers Companion, and well known for her articles on insufficient glandular tissue and chronic sore nipples, speak on Identifying the High-Risk Mother-Baby Couple.
Kathleen and Carole Peterson, IBCLC, Regional Breastfeeding Coordinator for WIC in Indiana and former NMC member (from San Mateo Chapter who started the Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Chapter) and will co-present The Healing Power of Breastfeeding: Supporting moms who have experienced sexual trauma.
There will be time for socializing and reconnecting with NMC friends and former members over a delicious lunch (included). This event will also be open to non-NMC members.
