We need many roles to be filled. Can you help? We have several Affiliate members serving on the Board. You do not need to be a Full Member! Not all these roles require attending Board meetings.

Social Medial. Are you skilled with using Instagram and Facebook. Can you spend 10+ minutes a week with creating posts and checking for tags and replies?

Set up and manage our Google Ads. Does not require attending Board meetings, you just need to submit a report

Chapter Secretary: Attend monthly board meetings (usually 1st Mon. 7-8:30PM). Send out Zoom link and start meetings. Maintain folders and documents in Google Drive (board members enter reports on Google Drive). Add items to minutes when needed

Executive Board Secretary: Attend quarterly board meetings (usually on a Sat. or Sun AM for 1.5 hours). Send out Zoom link. Board members submit reports on Google Drive.

Orientation Training Chair: We haven’t had a training since 2018 and would like to have a combined one with S.F. Bay & Santa Cruz in Spring 2024. Speakers are lined up. Maybe you’d like to partner with another member to work together in this role?

ACUITY

We have reviewed other scheduling apps and Acuity still seems to be the best for our needs at this time. (They are rated a 4.8 out of 5 on Capterra for scheduling software.) Our only alternative would be to go back to a manual scheduling system which is cumbersome and requires manually inputting contact information and manually tracking all the data for annual reporting.

If you know or have a connection to someone who could create a unique app for our needs without it being a prohibitive cost, please let us know!
